The Gentle Shepherd’s heartbeat defines our mission: to lead needy people to Christ, and to reach out to everyone with the love of Jesus, offering comfort, encouragement, and sound biblical teaching along with practical help whenever possible.
Just like Jesus reached out to people across various social barriers (For example, he talked with the woman at the well who was a Samaritan. Jews did not have any contact with the Samaritans.), we want to touch people of all ages and of any race or occupation. We want to let everyone know that the Lord has a special plan for them (Jeremiah 29:11), and that Jesus loves them and wants to save them and bring healing and peace to them in this world of turmoil and constant change.
