Changed by His touch |
Welcome to the Gentle Shepherd’s Ministries‘ web site! We are here to serve our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ and to serve you, His followers. Just like the role of a shepherd is to lead his sheep to clear waters and green pastures so they can be nourished and refreshed, we want to lead you to sources of refreshment in your spiritual walk. In whatever way wecan, we want to share His love with everyone and be His hand extended to bless you.
We also want to share the vision the Lord laid our hearts and invite you be take part in it. We desire to make you aware of some helpful local ministries to help you make good referrals when someone approaches you for help. This list will be updated from time to time as we get more and more permissions from various ministries to include them here.

John
10:2,4-5:
He that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. . .
. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them,
and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger
will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not
the voice of strangers.
Matthew
11:28-29
Come unto Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will
give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for
I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your
souls.
Psalm 23:
A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. He
maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the
still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art]
with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a
table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my
head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the
house of the LORD for ever.
Matthew
11:29:
"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and
humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my
yoke is easy and my burden is light."
